THE OPENER — plant the concept, then go straight to a question

Before I show you anything, let me give you 30 seconds of context so the questions I ask make sense.

Over 280 million Americans have given permission for their data to be used — through the sites and apps they use every day. All of that lives in one identity graph, and because we see billions of behaviors a week across it, we can tell the difference between someone who’s interested in Roof repair and someone who’s actively pricing it this week. That second group is what we call in-market — and most businesses have no idea it’s even visible.

So with that in mind, I’ve got a few quick questions — because what I show you depends completely on your answers.

  1. First — what’s the exact service you want more of? In your words.…because the in-market data is that specific — ‘roof repair’ and ‘roof replacement’ are two different groups of people.
  2. And on average, what’s one of those customers worth to you?…because in a few minutes I’m going to show you a number of in-market buyers in your area, and I want you doing that math, not me.
  3. Walk me through what happens today from a lead coming in to them becoming a customer. Where do most fall out?
  4. And the people you’re reaching right now — how do you decide who to target? Do you actually know whether any of them are looking for Roof repair right now? This is the money question. Wait for the “no.” Then: “Right — almost nobody does. That’s exactly the gap.”
  5. One more — and most people don’t even know this is possible. Right now, about 98 out of 100 people who visit your website leave without a trace. If we could turn that lost traffic into real leads — people you could email over and over, and we walked you through how to use AI to do exactly that — until they either bought, opted out, or simply fell off the face of the earth… how do you think that would help your business?Let them answer. That’s the pixel and the follow-up machine sold in one sentence — before they’ve seen either.
  6. Then it makes sense for me to show you exactly how we find those people — and how we catch the ones already on your site. Fair? One heads-up — we won’t get this perfect today; the goal is just to show you what’s possible.→ Share screen. Start the show.
Presets
Use their words. “Repair” ≠ “new installation.”
City + state, or a ZIP.
“On average, what’s a customer worth?”
Low or blank is fine — we front the launch traffic.
Their biggest leak, in their words.

B · The gap sequence
5“Walk me through your lead to customer process, where do most fall off?”
6“Out of 100 leads right now, how many are worth talking to?”
7“How do you decide who to target right now?” (listening for: no intent data)
8“Do you actually know if they’re looking for Roof repair right now?” (you want the ‘no’)
C · The four yeses
9“If more of the people you talked to were actively in-market, would that improve lead quality?”
10“If your team was only talking to people already looking — how do you see that translating to revenue?” (then shut up)
11“Right now, about 98 out of 100 people who visit your website leave without a trace. If we could turn that lost traffic into real leads — people you could email over and over, and we walked you through how to use AI to do exactly that — until they either bought, opted out, or simply fell off the face of the earth… how do you think that would help your business?” — got their answer (confirmed)
12“Want me to show you how we find those people?” (they invite the demo)
D · Frame the screen-share
13“We’re not going to get this perfect today — the goal is just to show what’s possible. Fair?”
⚠ Never ask about ad spend. The pitch works at $0 — we front the traffic. Budget talk before the close invites price-anchoring.
